A little background...

Welcome to the Archinautix blog! 

I am James Jorgensen, Architect, founder of Archinautix LLC, and partner in School Street Design Company LLC. School Street started 15 years ago as a specialty CAD modeling service catering primarily to the aerospace and automotive industries. We focused on laser scanning as a basis for generating those CAD models so engineering teams could collaborate with accurate baselines to make great things happen. Occasionally we were also asked to assist with CNC tooling and composite part fabrication, which we did, but for logistical reasons eventually decided to spin off the fabrication activity to a separate entity that I would run independently, and Archinautix LLC was born.  

While delivering increasingly urgent surface modeling services to a repeat customer, my business partner in School Street decided to make the jump to full-time employment, so for the foreseeable future, School Street will be kept alive as an entity, but services will primarily be provided through Archinautix.  

For our customers, nothing changes. The focus remains on enabling engineering teams to tackle design and fabrication challenges through laser scanning and CAD modeling. If you need prototyping or short run composite fabrication assistance, we might be able to help there too depending on size and scope. 

Periodically, I will use this blog to highlight some of our services and projects. In the meantime, go chase those dreams and let us know how we can help.
