Scanning
For any design or analysis involving existing objects, accurately capturing geometry is a critical first step. We use the Creaform suite of handheld scanners to handle object sizes from engine components to entire vehicles or light aircraft. For large commercial aircraft we work with trusted vendors.
CAD modeling
Lightweight and watertight NURBS surface models are the gateway to efficient analysis and design iterations via CFD or FEA. Our CAD models are produced in Rhino but can be exported in any necessary format.
Composite Prototyping
A small shop with big capabilities. With digital models in hand and our unique approach, CNC can be outsourced while tooling design, assembly and part production are performed in-house. The tooling is suitable for individual or dozens of consistent parts.
Design
With a background in design and architecture combined with a passion for mechanical devices and aircraft, we constantly seek elegant solutions to vexing challenges where performance matters. We also work closely with experts in aerodynamics and mechanical engineering.
